Hearing Freedom is actively looking to grow their team.

The ideal candidate is a Communicative Disorders Assistant willing to assist both the client care coordinator and clinicians.

You have your Communication Disorders Assistant Diploma and have a great interest in helping the hearing impaired.

You are looking for a part-time position, typically 15-20 hours per week and would be available to cover a full week (37.5hrs) a few times per year.

You have strong interpersonal skills. You are personable and have top-notch customer service abilities –assessing and meeting the individual’s needs leaving them with memorable experiences.

You are a reliable and trustworthy individual, who is committed and hard-working.

You are versatile, thorough, and have impeccable organizational skills.

You effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities, navigating between the needs of the patients and those of the clinic, working calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment all the while keeping a smile on your face.

You enjoy working with a team and also have the self-motivation and self-discipline to work alone.

What does this position entail?

-Administrative Duties such as answering telephone calls, replying to emails, booking appointments, ensuring a complete and balanced schedule, greeting patients, filing, scanning documents, tracking patient care plans, etc.

-Office Management Duties such as managing/ordering office supplies and stock, managing office events, light cleaning/tidying responsibilities, managing invoicing, managing recalls, etc.

-Patient Management Duties such as customer service, device cleaning and troubleshooting, information sharing, patient assistance, product packaging, etc.

-Clinician Support such as report drafting, patient counselling, equipment calibration, etc.

Other skills we look for?

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment is mandatory.

Electronic mail, electronic scheduler, word processing, spreadsheets and database software competencies are required.

Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Bilingual (French/English) candidates preferred.

Knowledge about hearing aids and proficiency in Blueprint OMS is a great asset.
